Un Ataque de Nervios

Now that I’m embarking on all of my journeys I am getting quite sad that I have so little time left in Madrid. I felt like the first month I was grasping everything and I didn’t really explore, plus it was cold. But now, I just want to walk around and check everything out but there is so little time. Especially when I have to come home and pack and be at the airport at 7:45am.

Today I sat in this cafe I’ve been to a couple of times called Lolina and sat and wrote a paper about poetry. How chic right. After I spent some time at Retiro and lounged in the sun. THEN I took a million different buses home partly because my metro line had huge delays but also so I could see other random parts of the city. It was great except it took me about an hour to get home.

Last night I saw Mujeres al Borde de un Ataque de Nervios by Almodovar. I watched this once in 9th grade but I TOTALLY didn’t understand it then and it was much funnier than I had remembered. Especially because this actress is in it:

Which is comical because in Almodovar’s new film, which I’m seeing on Wednesday, she is in it too!

I am all ready to go to Barcelona. I hope we make it to the beach! Mostly, I’m pretty amped for the Dali museum.
